While Americans continue to convert their TVs to high definition (HD), Midland Video Productions (MVP) is already offering a second HD editing system to enhance its commercial video and production capabilities. The HD system is designed to save time and boost overall quality of video production for customers.
Midland’s new AVID Media Composer has increased the company’s ability to provide marketing and training presentations in high definition for companies throughout the Midwest.
“Although not every video is distributed in HD, many companies are shooting and editing in the format because it makes it easier to create multiple versions for the Internet, DVDs, Blu-ray and international formats while archiving the material for future use,” said George Liberatore, president, Midland Video. “This added editing system helps us balance quality, cost and speed for our portfolio of clients.”
The new HD system has already been put into action for a client in the UK and was used to develop training videos for an Illinois-based medical equipment manufacturer.
In addition to shooting and editing in HD, Midland continues to serve clients with standard definition projects.
Located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, Midland writes, produces, shoots and edits hundreds of video presentations each year, ranging from new product introductions to technical training, and from television commercials to documentaries.
Midland Video Productions, Inc. is a full-service video production company founded in 1980 by George Liberatore and Neil Jaehnert. Since then MVP has produced thousands of business communication tools for companies worldwide, as well as Internet content and documentaries.content and documentaries.
