| You would think that Milwaukee’s Bradford Beach on a June afternoon would be a perfect place to shoot. And it looked perfect in June of 1998 when we needed an “older adults smiling on the beach” scene.

What you can’t tell from this picture is that it was about 50º that day and these people were freezing. Take after take they walked on the sand and tried to make it look inviting. Fortunately, this was before we began shooting in HD so you couldn’t see the goose bumps.
